Found this while in the Cincy area. Food is absolutely amazing. I had the biscuits and gravy which came with home fries, 2 eggs and your choice of meat. I got goetta. Definitely gonna be my breakfast/lunch spot when working in the area!
I stopped in here for a breakfast sandwich to go. The decor of the place is very cute. The person at the counter was very nice and friendly. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on wheat bread with ham egg and cheese. I was completely surprised at how huge it was and with the size of the other sandwiches coming out of the kitchen. Everything looked great! I also couldn't get over the ham on my sandwich. It wasn't just some thin sliced ham. It was ham steak! I could only eat half of the sandwich because it was so big. I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and I'm glad I did. I can't wait to go back and eat in.
We were pleasantly surprised! Country fried steak is a steak, not a steak patty. The homemade cheese sauce on the Benny was flavorful. The bloody Mary was tasty, and the coffee and iced coffee were good.
4/3/24 This is my 4th visit here. I have had the East Philadelphia Steak sandwich, The Konkle double steakburger twice and today I had the French Dip Hoagie. Like the Philly Steak Sandwich, made with shaved Ribeye steak. Melt in your mouth delicious. So far, everything I have had here has been very good. I can hardly wait to try another meal. I'm feeling that it will be another good one...
A wonderful family atmosphere! We came once and they remembered us the second time we came back! Cinnamon roll, biscuits, and omelets are all perfectly cooked and delicious. Generous portions. Coffee never got cold. Always a warm welcome. The goetta is top tier. We come every time we are in Cincinnati. Kids love it too!
First time here.... won't be there last! Highly recommend hitting up West Shine for breakfast/brunch! BLT Breakfast potatoes Biscuits and gravy Bloody Mary and unlimited (15) mimosas! Can't beat it and you're supporting local!!
Everything about West Shine is 100%. The food is amazing, the service is amazing. The price is GREAT! Eating with my spouse anywhere else would cost us at least 60 WITHOUT tip. I spend no more than 50 WITH 20% tip and walk away full. One thing though, bring cash to buy some jewelry from Emma! We'll definitely always come back!
